Keenan Jackson

Keenan Jackson is an educator and interdisciplinary artist based in Philadelphia. In 2015 they founded a curatorial venture with Art History PhD candidates called Incubation Series, led programming at Institute for Contemporary Art – Philadelphia as a graduate student lecturer, and in 2016 earned their Masters in Fine Arts with a certificate in Interactive and Time-Based Media from University of Pennsylvania.

Keenan has been included in exhibitions at Fjord, Space 1026, and New Boon(e), Philadelphia PA; Viridian Artists and The Greenpoint Gallery, New York NY; and MAMA Gallery, Los Angeles CA. Their participatory performance project Service Art was awarded a First Night grant by FIGMENT two consecutive years in 2013 and 2014. They have been an Artist in Residence at Vermont Studio Center, Officina Stamperia Del Notaio, Ox-Bow, The Church Studios, Laboratory Spokane, and Wassaic Project.
