Liberal Arts
Laura Gaughan’s background is in creative writing and literature. In graduate school, she focused her research on feminist, queer, and gender theory, as well as folklore. She is interested in the cultural scripts that inform the way we write about and see one another, and also unlearning the harmful parts of these narratives. She is excited to foster critical minds within her students and to help them create engaging and thoughtful pieces of writing.
