Mia Pisano is a fiber based artist living in Baltimore, MD. Her work focuses on her personal relationship with sustainability and the natural world. Through time spent outdoors and documentation of this time, she utilizes tedious craft processes to communicate her experiences through sculptural weavings. All of her materials are recycled, or sustainably sourced.
She received her BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture from Maryland Institute College of Art, and her MFA in Studio Arts from Towson University.
