NEW: Take a virtual tour of “Shoulda Been a Poet” here!

Fine Art seniors are mounting a December exhibit of their work, “Shoulda Been a Poet,” at Lancaster Museum of Art, 135 N Lime St. An opening reception will be held during First Friday celebrations on Dec. 6.

“For the past several years we have had an exhibition downtown of the Fine Art seniors’ work in December,” Department Chair William Mammarella said. “Previously it would be a one-night event for First Friday. This year we are excited to be partnering with the Lancaster Museum of Art for this exhibition that will be on view through December.”

The senior show will be displayed on the museum’s second floor. To make sure it is accessible to as many visitors as possible, senior Quinn Waltman will compile an audio tour of the exhibition that will be available to use at the gallery, and closed-captioned video of the opening reception will be shared on PCA&D’s Facebook account.

Taking part in the December exhibit are:

Corinne Carmiche, Ashley Cheeseman, Jarrett Dreese, Fiona Duckworth, Noel Fry, Nikki Hagginbothom, Liz Miller, Amy Obuch, Heather Schroeder, Quinn Waltman, and Honoria Yunkin. Each student will have one to three works on display from the fall term.

  • Opening Reception: Friday, Dec. 6, 5-8 pm at Lancaster Museum of Art. Show Runs: Dec. 7-22.
