Eric Weeks included in State Museum 50th anniversary show

Eric Weeks, PCA&D’s chair of Photography and Fine Art departments, has his photograph “WGAL” selected to be part of PA Modern: A Photography Exhibit of Midcentury Architecture, a juried exhibit featuring evocative images of some of the commonwealth’s most iconic Modernist structures.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of The State Museum and Archives Complex, Pennsylvania Modern: A Photography Exhibition of Midcentury Modern Architecture. opens on Sunday, October 25. This juried exhibition honors iconic, modern architecture throughout the commonwealth and documents this important architecture which is often “hidden in plain sight.” Photographers throughout Pennsylvania focused on both the details and the overall views of residences, schools, commercial structures, religious buildings, among others. In addition, buildings designed by several world-famous architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra, Mies van der Rohe, and Louis Kahn were captured by
