More than a dozen internship sites and employers will be on hand for Pennsylvania College of Art & Design’s Internship Career Day, scheduled this fall for Friday, September 30. Open to all PCA&D students and alumni, the event will be a hybrid of both in-person and remote sessions and will give participants lots of timely information, ready-to-use advice, and practical how-tos on careers and internships, finding your path, exploring your options, and more. The day is a hybrid mix of in-person (in the fourth-floor LookOut) and online presentations, workshops, and internship introductions.

“The workshops and speakers have been invited to give insights and inspiration to our students and alumni based on a variety of internships and career paths,” says Justin Phillips, the College’s Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs. “We are excited to host several regional businesses and entrepreneurs as well as welcoming Interlochen Center for the Arts, who will be joining us virtually. Career Services aims to create content and opportunities to inspire our students to envision, experience, and engage.”

The Keynote Speaker is Andrea Shirk, CEO and President of Rock Lititz, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the fourth-floor LookOut. Shirk, who has been at Rock Lititz since 2013, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has worked in leadership programs at Lockheed Martin and Bose.
