Tethered is a completely 3D short film that came from the thought of having a cool chase scene only centered around two characters. The initial thought of this concept to me felt very simple yet fun and dynamic. This work has no personal connections that I drew from, I just wanted to make a work that I would enjoy animating until the end of production. Work I was inspired by while making this were episodes from Love Death + Robots, Men In Black, and Captain America Civil War. I attempted to have as much movement in my characters as I could while trying to convey a good story and entertain an audience.
AJ is an Animation & Game Art major with a passion for creative storytelling. He originally lived in New Jersey, then moved to Maryland where he first got serious about his pursuit of art as a career. In high school while playing a video game he realized that this was the career path he wanted to pursue.
