Design Thinking, BA

Minor in General Humanities
My design thinking project this past semester was focused on improving and building upon PCA&D’s established wayfinding system. The goal of my work was to make campus navigation more accessible and easier to understand for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Backed up by research and interviews, I developed a prototype wayfinding system that starts in the lobby of PCA&D’s campus.

In my illustration and fine art work this past year, I have been formally focusing on understanding value and developing my use of color. Conceptually I have been focusing on blending the imagined world with reality. To do so, I study the forms that catch my interest with observational sketches and color studies. Then I do additional sketches and color exploration from memory and develop a final piece.

I am a multimedia artist from McAdoo, Pennsylvania with a background in illustration and the fine arts. I start every project with my pencil and sketch book and finish it with anything from traditional material to digital. Most recently, I’ve shown work in the Philly Resource Exchange Summer 2024 Exhibition, the PCA&D On Reflection Exhibition, and also illustrated the PCA&D 2025 Senior Exhibition Catalog.
