William Metzinger IV is a digital-based photographer and powerlifter. Influenced by photographer Danny Lyon and his project “The Bikeriders”, Metzinger’s senior thesis project explores the complexities of male friendship and masculinity. His work has been exhibited at the Lancaster Museum of Art and published internationally in PCA&D Photography Exchanges with Kyungil University, South Korea, and Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. During his time at PCA&D, Metzinger participated in the Photography & Video Department’s podcast, Into The Darkroom. Metzinger is also a current United States Powerlifting Association (USPA) athlete and actively competes.
