Inspired by animals, speculative evolution, and mythology, Shannon creates work that depicts fantastic creatures set in a fantasy world. Her thesis project aims to create a collection of ten different creatures that all exist within the same fantastic world but belonging to different biomes within that world. Shannon is a digital illustrator who aims to use her knowledge of extinct and extant animals, mythology and folklore, and speculative evolution to become a creature and character designer for movies and video games.
