A different sort of pub crawl

The Graphic Design department at PCA&D went on the Society of Publications Designers’s annual Pub(lications) Crawl, their annual event in New York City that gives college students an opportunity to see the behind the scenes workings at major magazines and publications.
The event, held October 7, allowed students to visit with the creative directors and designers of some of the top magazines in the country, according to Pam Barby, chair of the Graphic Design Department.
Thirty two students and five faculty members visited the offices of the New York Time Magazine, Bloomsberg Pursuits, Condé Nast Traveler, Refinery 29, New Yorker, Buzzfeed, and Real Simple, and the design firm Campbell McCandless. Here are some pictures from their adventure:
