Students are required to complete an internship, apprenticeship, fellowship, or mentorship program as a component of their graduation requirements
During their sophomore year, students are encouraged to seek out and propose internship opportunities. Guidance and direct referrals are provided by department chairs, internship coordinators, the Career Services team, and faculty within their major.
All internships require final approval from the department chair, internship coordinator or Career Services Team and students are encouraged to schedule their experience in the summer between the third and fourth years of the BFA or BA program. Internship may extend into the fourth year, provided it does not conflict with required coursework.
