Zoe Gross

Zoe Aurelia Gross teaches Aesthetic Theories in the Liberal Arts Department at PCA&D. Zoe is currently a PhD candidate in Interdisciplinary Arts at Ohio University, where she studies Philosophy of Art with a focus on visual art and experimental sculpture. Zoe has a MFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a BS in Fine Arts from Skidmore College. Zoe has taught arts courses at RISD, Ohio University, and the University of Houston. In Zoe’s doctoral work, she studies aesthetic theory to provide frameworks for questioning philosophical problems within contemporary arts practice. Zoe’s artistic production centers curiosity, process, and playfulness through mixed media sculpture, temporal installation art, and ceramics.
