Student Health Insurance Plan

All PCA&D students need to enroll or waive coverage for Fall 2024

The deadline is Wednesday, August 28, 2024

PCA&D has introduced a Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) that requires all full-time students, and all part-time students living in PCA&D housing, to have comprehensive medical coverage in the Lancaster area. To comply with this requirement, students must either enroll for coverage or waive coverage through proof of comparable health insurance. PCA&D has partnered with QM Services to administer this process.

program overview

The SHIP includes a prescription plan, support for laboratory tests and X-rays, as well as in-patient and hospitalization coverage.

  • There’s a $30 for specialist visit (including outpatient mental health visits)
  • There’s a $100 copay for emergency care

next steps

You have two options to satisfy this requirement and you will need to login to the QM Services website to make your choice…

Register to get started on the QM Services website then complete the enrollment process. Your PCA&D student account will be charged the cost of the plan and you will be enrolled from August 1, 2024 through July 31, 2025.

Waive the SHIP
