My short film is an exploration of growth and self discovery through internal reflection. I wanted to blend my background in illustration and traditional media with my experience with digital animation. Using a mix of traditional drawing techniques, hand drawn animation and physical assets I was able to create something that came full circle for me as an artist and encompassed the film’s themes of the cyclical nature of life.
I’m an animator and illustrator from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Primarily a traditional artist, my work explores the use of traditional media in contemporary pieces and I often take a mixed media approach to push my craft past boundaries of one technique. As an artist, I’m a visual storyteller, allowing the piece to speak for itself and leaving room for the audience to draw their own conclusions.
