Pam has taught studio classes in packaging design, advertising, portfolio preparation and professional practices, typography, digital technology, visual communications, and junior and senior design courses. Since 2010 at the college, she has been the event coordinator for Designathon, an event in which students and faculty give of their time and talents to nonprofit organizations seeking design services, for free, all within 12 hours. PCA&D students, alumni, and faculty have provided design work for over 80 organizations through this event.
In 2018, she was recognized by Graphic Design USA magazine in their “Faculty to Watch,” 2018 issue. Following that recognition, she was honored to serve as the Interim Dean of Academics from February 2019 until December 2019. Pam continues to work as a freelance designer working with one of the largest substance-use treatment centers on the East Coast. For one week at a time during two of her most recent summers, she has enjoyed helping Fuller Global Builders build homes in Pignon, Haiti.
