Take Flight on Accepted Student Day

Congratulations on your acceptance to Pennsylvania College of Art & Design! We are excited to offer you a spot in our incoming class and we’d like to invite you to a special event. 


Free parking is available in the Water Street Garage located on 220 North Water Street behind the College. Take a ticket to enter the garage then a voucher will be given to you at the event. 


9:15 am – 9:30 am: Event Check-In

Check-in for the day’s activities in our Main Gallery located at 204 North Prince Street.

9:30 am – 10:30 am: President’s Brunch

Enjoy lunch with other future PCA&D students, current students, faculty & staff and hear from President Michael Molla and Provost Dr. Carissa Massey about the vision for PCA&D and how we are preparing creatives that will design the future.

10:30 am – 11:00 am: The Next Steps

Ok, so now what? Enrollment and Student Life staff will walk families through what to expect in the next steps in the journey to becoming a PCA&D Peacock.

11:15 am – 1:15 pm: Parent Academy and Student Immersion Experiences

Our Parent Academy will familiarize parents, and guardians, with the people, offices, and programs available to students as well as things you can do to support your future art & design student. While that’s happening, students can take part in experiences with current PCA&D students to get those creative juices flowing.
What are the Student Immersion Experiences?

1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Faculty Meet & Greet/Q&A

Hear from and ask questions of PCA&D faculty and students in our BFA Degree programs.

2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Enrollment Wrap-Up

Enrollment Staff will be available to answer any final questions, point you in the right direction, provide dinner recommendations, or whatever you need to wrap up your time on campus

2:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Student Housing Tour (Optional)

Take the opportunity to tour one of PCA&D’s residence facilities. The address of the location will be given at the event. 

2:30 pm: Explore Lancaster (On your own)

Rich in heritage, history, and culture, the city of Lancaster has something for everyone. Our small-town, bustling city atmosphere offers exceptional dining, diverse shopping, and noteworthy historical landmarks.
