The importance of networking was stressed in many of my classes and has been a large part of my success. By having a professional presence both on the internet and in person, I am able to get my name and work out there and acquire work. My background in art taught me sensitivity to lighting and composition, which has had several companies request my photography services. Although it is not fine art work, I have been able to apply techniques learned to the photographs I take.
