Join us at Tec Centro West on Saturday, January 25th from 10 am – 2 pm for the Stuff to Do Fair!

Hosted by Representative Izzy Smith-Wade-El and Tec Centro West, this event invites all community members to come find a class, hobby, club, or activity to join. Center for Creative Exploration will be there from 10 AM to 2 PM to make sketchbooks, welcome folks to attend our classes, and we encourage you to stop by our table, bring a friend, and browse the other tables at the fair. From arts to writing to fitness to games to nature and beyond, come find something to do!

Tec Centro West is located at 57 Laurel Street and has lots of parking available.

Join us at Zoetropolis on Sunday, February 23 from 11 am – 2 pm for an OG art bag challenge! (think Chopped, but we’re making art)

11 am – 1:30 pm anyone, any age, come to the lobby/Snug Art Bar at Zoetropolis where you will be given a mysterious bag of materials to use in a work of art. You can use pieces of things, but every material must be incorporated. Once finished, title your piece and place it in the judging area if you want to compete or if not just take it home and enjoy the fruits of your labor!

1:30 – 1:40 pm voting begins! Everyone gets a chance to cast their vote for their favorite art.

1:45 pm we count votes and award splendid and crafty trophies (oh yeah, there are trophies). You have to be present to win!

No registration required. Suggested $5 donation, but pay what you feel.

*Reservations with Zoetropolis are strongly suggested if you plan to brunch.
