Join the PCA&D Center for Creative Exploration (CCE) team at the May Manor Market located at 321 Manor Avenue, Millersville, PA 17551. We will be hosting a family friendly tent where you can create a spring or summer inspired tote to gather all of your market goods for the rest of the season!

Manor Market is free to attend. Participation in totebag creation is open for donation.

Join the Center for Creative Exploration at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (pcad.edu/cce) at Zoetropolis Cinema and Stillhouse the second Wednesday of the month for art making, creative breaks, and play that’s just for grown-ups.

For May’s Art Recess for Adults we will be joined by Hillside Place Studio! Hillside Place Studio, founded by artist and educator Stephanie Deininger, is centered on investigating the connections between the creative arts and therapeutic benefits in the context of wellness/well-being. Join Hillside Place during the May Art Recess for Adults in an exploration of  “a sense of place” as the theme for reflection and mindfulness. Together we will dive into abstraction and collage techniques to help us create work as we think about how and why we travel and what landscapes can represent for us as we take a mini mental holiday.

• Bring a craft you’re already working on!

Wind down your day and take care of yourself. Join us between 4:30 – 6:30 pm in the Snug Art Bar.

Art Recess has a suggested donation of $2.

Join us on May 18, 11 am – 2 pm for Art at Brunch where we are bringing supplies to create beautifully textured vessels with yarn and other fibers inspired by artist Judith Scott. We will have tons of material options and various recycled vessels to choose from.
Have a can or vase you want to reimagine wrapped in yarn? Feel free to bring it! Have some small bundles of yarn to share from your stash? Feel free to bring that, too!

Adults and kids are welcomed!
