EmporersNewClothes_Poster_PrintTwelve students from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design will be visually interpreting the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes” in an exhibition at the Community Room of King, 106 W King St, Lancaster, PA 17603,  from April 1 – 25, with a reception on First Friday, April 1, 5 – 8 p.m.

The students are enrolled in the Media, Form, and Concept class taught by Davis Moss, PCA&D fine art faculty member. Moss said, “This brief story is rich in metaphor and poses so many questions regarding beauty, pretense, deception, illusion, vanity, power, and the willingness to accept a lie. This makes it a perfect vehicle to challenge students to give visual form to their interpretative ideas.”
