Catherine Hartkorn

Hartkorn is an award-winning college professor with more than a decade of experience developing and instructing online biology and laboratory undergraduate courses. Hartkorn also serves as an expert/content reviewer for textbooks and projects for Pearson Education Inc.

“In my teaching,” Hartkorn writes, “I prefer to use the application approach. I also like to include interconnections between biology and other relevant sciences, such as chemistry, physics, and mathematics.” When not in the classroom, Hartkorn enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, and playing the piano.
