David Spolum was born in Colorado. He teaches art history, film studies, mythology, graphic novels, world-building & other arcane subjects (including a course on the Quay Brothers) at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design & at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
If reading is considered necromancy, he divides his time equally between the living & the dead.
In 2011, he collaborated with the Mütter Museum and the world-renowned Quay Brothers to co-author the documentary: “THROUGH THE WEEPING GLASS”.
David is currently writing a gonzoid, epic poem titled “HOMERIC SHRAPNEL” illuminating the end of the Trojan War.
