www.jondiventi.comJon di Venti is an artist and educator with 18 years of college level teaching experience. Jon began his teaching career as a full-time faculty member at the prestigious Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, where he had the honor of overseeing the Visual Development process for 6 of the college’s 14 (and counting) Student Academy Award winning animated short films.
In 2016, Jon left Ringling to assist in the establishment of the Animation & Game Art department at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, for which he served as Department Chair for 5 years, and later transitioned to teach in the Illustration department. Throughout his teaching career, Jon has written and/or taught courses in Visual Development, Story Development, Storyboarding, Life Drawing, Anatomy, Professional Practices, 2D Design, Preproduction for Animation, and various illustration courses.
Currently, Jon is teaching as an adjunct professor and working as a freelancer illustrator. Some of his recent projects include concept art and splash illustrations for LitRPG author Seth Ring, and visual development art for the soon-to-be released animated feature film, Light of the World (in theaters Summer 2025).
