Matt Hollenbach

Matt grew up in Catasauqua, PA, studied Communication Design at Kutztown University, and has called Lancaster home for more than 25 years. He started his career in web design back when “usability” wasn’t really part of the vocabulary and has watched digital design evolve into the thoughtful, user-centered field it is today. His lightbulb moment with UX came while helping prototype an app for Intel—it opened his eyes to how much more design could do when it truly focused on people. These days, Matt works as a UX designer and consultant, helping teams simplify complex systems and create digital tools that actually make sense. At PCA&D, he brings that real-world experience into the classroom, encouraging students to think critically, stay curious, and always design with the user in mind.
