Mike Roth

Mike Roth was the Executive Producer of the animated series Bat-Fam based on the animated feature he directed, developed, and executive produced, Merry Little Batman, starring the iconic caped crusader. Both, are streaming on Amazon Prime. Prior to this role, Roth developed and supervised the development of several projects with Disney Television Animation. Roth was also the Co-Executive Producer of Cartoon Network’s Emmy winning Shorts Program where he was responsible for the development and production pipeline of their shorts. Several shorts under Mike’s supervision went to series, including Craig of the Creek, Apple and Onion, Summer Camp Island, Victor and Valentino, Infinity Train, and more.
Roth previously served as a writer and producer on Cartoon Network’s animated series Regular Show, in which he was recognized for his writing and producing with an Emmy in 2012 along with several more Emmy nominations on Regular Show and other projects through his career. Roth has also been nominated for a Kid’s Screen, a Critics Choice Award, two BAFTA’s, two Annies and has been in competition at Sundance. He has written and storyboarded on Cartoon Network’s The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Camp Lazlo, and Disney Channel’s Phineas and Ferb. He has also storyboarded and animated on Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants as well as Paramount Pictures’ feature films The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, The Wild Thornberrys, Rugrats Go Wild, and Rugrats in Paris.
Roth has also previously served on the boards for both The Television Academy and The Animation Guild. He earned a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
