Re Union

Artworks by Rachel Yinger '14

Throughout the academic year, the Hayden Student Exhibition Space hosts exhibitions curated by alumni guest jurors. In the summer, we celebrate those jurors with exhibitions of their own in the Hayden Gallery.

This summer PCA&D is proud to present the work of  Rachel Yinger ’14 one of the 2023-24 jurors, in her exhibition Re Union

Re Union is a collection of “select works from the past ten years, and I graduated from PCAD ten years ago.” Yinger says, “I also have a theme of titling works with a compound word separated into two words to add another layer of meaning, hence the separation of ‘reunion’.”

Rachel Yinger is a visual artist and curator. She received a BFA in Fine Art from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in 2014 and an MFA in Socially-Engaged Studio Art from Moore College of Art & Design in 2019. While attending Moore, she curated an exhibition that encouraged the school to adopt a more inclusive admissions policy. She works in painting, drawing, printmaking, zine-making, and installation. She primarily creates large paintings and zines, exploring themes of gender and sexuality. Find Rachel on campus where she is the Program Coordinator, Pre-College & Adult Enrichment in the Center for Creative Exploration.

The Hayden Gallery is open to all students, staff, and faculty when there are no meetings in the multi-use space. Public are welcome on First Fridays.
