Pennsylvania College of Art & Design’s Fine Art Department is again sponsoring an alumni residency, for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Application details can be found here. Deadline for applications is Friday, May 28.

The residency, open to one graduate of PCA&D or its precursor, the Pennsylvania School of Art & Design, is an opportunity to participate in a creative community, connect with their alma mater’s vibrant faculty and student body, invigorate their personal practice, and serve as a mentor to PCA&D students. It affords the chance to be mentored by the College’s visiting artists as well, and is open to Fine Art alumni who work in all media.

The Artist in Residence has reserved space in the College’s 4th-floor studios, and access to all building facilities such as the printmaking and digital print labs and woodshop.

Priority will be given to locally based applicants. Residents will be expected to be on campus for at least eight hours weekly, be a willing mentor to current students, and abide by all College policies and the Student Code of Conduct.
