7 PCA&D students honored in SIGGRAPH exhibition

The work of seven PCA&D students and recent alumni has been selected for the 9th Annual Faculty Submitted Student Work Exhibit at the annual conference of ACM SIGGRAPH.

Congratulations to:

Animation and Game Art Thesis Film: Dana Timpert, for “Petals,” and Jeff Yosco, for “Brocky VS Big Max.” Both are 2020 graduates in Animation & Game Art.

Visual Development I: Joanna BeckerDorinda Benner, Hannah Guldin, and Alex Zhao. All are senior Illustration majors.

Visual Development II: Jadin Poliski ’21, Animation & Game Art.

Visual Development I students were chosen based on assignments requiring the design and execution of image rendering, prop/vehicle, design, and a finished, gray-scale environmental design painting. Visual Development II students’ work was selected based on Prepro pitch design and polish. Work was submitted by faculty members Jon Di Venti and Natasha Warshawsky.

The professional organization for those working the fields of computer graphics and interactive techniques, SIGGRAPH will hold this year’s conference online. The full exhibition, also, has found a home online, and you can access it here.
