Fine Art Alumni Artist in Residence applications are now open
The College’s Fine Art Alumni Artist in Residence Program is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic year.
The deadline for applications is Friday, May 28.
This on-campus residency is open to any Fine Art graduate of PCA&D or its predecessor, the Pennsylvania School of Art & Design. Artists who work in any medium are invited to apply.
See here for details and the residency application.
This is a great opportunity to connect with the College’s innovative faculty and enthusiastic student body, participate fully in a creative community, invigorate your personal practice, and serve as a mentor to PCA&D students. It’s also a chance to interact with, and be mentored by, the College’s visiting artists, gallery exhibitors, and speakers.
The Fine Art Alumni Artist in Residence has reserved space in the College’s 4th-floor studios and access to all building facilities, such as the printmaking and digital labs and woodshop.
The program is returning after a one-year break due to Covid-19 restrictions on campus. It was inaugurated during the 2019-2020 academic year by Jason Herr ’16. You can read about his experience here, see more of his work here, and follow him on Instagram at @jas0n_herr_.
