Four PCA&D Photo Majors in Photographer’s Forum Magazine

Sophomore Ashley Crist won Honorable Mention for her photograph “Sheetz #421.” in the “Photographer’s Forum Best of College Photography 2018”. Honorable Mention was awarded to the 100 best photographs out of 12,000 submissions.

Three other PCA&D students, Julya Nichols, Senior, Lexi Friedman, Senior, and Karim Gavins, Sophomore, were named as finalists. Only 700 of the 1200 entries received this honor.

Established in 1977, Photographer’s Forum magazine is an award-winning quarterly publication dedicated to quality reproduction of photography in the United States and Canada. They annually host competitions for professionals and students in photography.
