Tuesday, November 29th, 2022

In Consideration, a collection of work by eight Fine Art seniors at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, opens for First Friday on Dec. 2, and runs through Dec. 4, at The Demuth Museum Auxiliary Galleries, 116 E. King St., Lancaster.

Artists whose work is on display in the show include Cassie Carver-Peters, Parker Galen, Bee Grissinger, Emily Moyer, Cheyenne Nycz, Kelsie Reimer, Moselyn Sandy, and Faith Stiffey.

“After a semester of independent studio work, discussion, and critique, our seniors are just beginning to find the thread that connects their studio practice,” says Prof. Becky Blosser, Fine Art Department Chair. “In Consideration features their strongest work from this semester. It is wonderful to end the semester with this exhibition and celebrate all the hard work they put in!”

“We’re delighted to once again partner with PCA&D to offer fine art students an opportunity to show their work,” says Abby Baer, Executive Director of the Demuth Foundation. “It is an honor to be part of these artists’ stories and support them as they develop their senior theses, and we welcome the opportunity for our members and audiences to experience and enjoy the students’ work.”
