. . .

Saturday, November 12th, 2016

Olivia DiFilippo, a senior Fine Art major from Alexis I. duPont High School in Wilmington, DE, is our featured student ambassador. Olivia was attracted to PCA&D by the feeling of community at the school and the city of Lancaster, which surprised her with its “artsy feel.”

Some of Olivia’s thoughts:

What words of wisdom would you share with a prospective student?

“Don’t listen to people telling you not to pursue your dreams.”

When giving a tour what is one thing you are sure to describe?

“I always describe the student/faculty relationships. I enjoy being student ambassador because it gives me a chance to help the school and explain how it works.”

Student Ambassadors serve as representatives of the college. They work with the admissions department where they serve as guides for prospective students and their parents, art teachers, and guidance counselors. Student Ambassadors attend each PCA&D open house event, provide important insight into the creative environment afforded to students in our degree programs and create an important link to prospective students who want to be part of the PCA&D community.
