Pennsylvania College of Art & Design has joined the growing number of colleges and universities which accept The Common Application, known as the Common App, as part of its admissions application process.

This decision simplifies the application process, allowing students to fill out one application that then is accepted by any college or university that is part of the non-profit Common Application organization. By accepting the Common App, PCA&D joins nearly 900 diverse higher education institutions in all 50 states and 20 countries.

Applying to college or university can be a time-consuming and confusing process. Accepting the Common App helps to remove some of that barrier, streamlining the college-application process and making it more accessible for students and their families. Being part of the Common App also opens up new resources for applicants, including mobile-friendly college applications, virtual mentoring services, family guides to financial aid, and more.
