Pennsylvania College of Art & Design is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $125,000 from the Truist Economic Growth Fund, formerly BB&T:

  • $50,000 of the grant will support scholarships for students who are Black, Indigenous, or people of color.
  • The remaining $75,000 is earmarked to accelerate the launch of PCA&D’s BFA in live experience design (LiveX), funding equipment for the aesthetics technology, fabrication, sound and light design , LiveX, and esports PC labs, and for recruitment and translation services.

This is sixth year of the Truist fund, established in 2015 when the institution formerly known as BB&T acquired Lancaster County-based Susquehanna Bancshares.  In this round of $835,000 in grants, PCA&D was one of seven higher-education institutions to receive an award.
