  • Our thanks to Scott Arbital ’16 for returning to his alma mater last month for an Artist Talk with our student AIGA organization. Arbital, a Graphic Design BFA graduate of PCA&D, is Art Supervisor at FCBCURE and founder and Chief Creative Officer & EVP of Fulfillment at M. Scott Media.
  • Brittany Blair ’18, Digital Media, has begun a new position as a Technical Artist at Stardock, a software development company.
  • A Subtle Shift in Our Perception, a collection of work by Matt Allyn Chapman ’08 (Adjunct, Fine Art/Foundation) and former faculty member Mike Witmer ’86 opens at curio. Gallery & Creative Supply, 106 W. Chestnut St., for First Friday, Dec. 6. The show, which is open that day from 10 am to 8 pm, is on display through Jan. 25, 2025. 
  • Jason Herr ’16, Fine Art, was recently interviewed about his work, his inspiration, and how his diverse locations have impacted his work, by Art Hub magazine. Read the full interview here.   • Thanks to Natalie Lascek and Salina Almanzar-Oree from the College’s Center for Creative Exploration, for representing CCE and sharing its mission in a new So Good Media podcast featuring local creatives who facilitate events that build community through art! The So Good Lancaster podcast is produced by So Good Media at The Candy Factory coworking space and social club. Listen here to CCE’s episode!
  • quinn mcnichol ’12, Fine Art, was recently selected for the Four Pillars residency, where artists live and work in the community of Mount Gretna, home of the Pennsylvania Chautauqua. They have participated in numerous residencies nationwide, and currently reside in Seattle, where they are a member of the artist-run gallery, SOIL. Their work is on display at Marketview Arts, York, through Jan. 18, 2025.
  • In addition to having work in last month’s Echoes alumni exhibition, Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs Justin Phillips ’01 is exhibiting in Extended Conversations, an exhibition by the Fellowship of The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. You can visit the virtual show here.
  • Jonathan Yeager ’04 and business partner Chris Trendler of Decades restaurant and arcade in Lancaster won the 2024 Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association Rising Star Award in October. The award honors emerging leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry who demonstrate ongoing occupational growth, notable industry involvement, and strong leadership. Yeager serves as Design & Development Manager at Decades.
