Your Studio. Your Practice. Your Next Chapter. Applications Are Open for the 26/27 PCA&D Fine Art Alumni Artist Residency
Monday, June 15th, 2026
Your degree was just the beginning. Now, PCA&D wants to give you what every emerging artist needs most: time, space, and community.
The Fine Art Department is proud to announce the Call for Entry for the 2026–2027 PCA&D Fine Art Alumni Artist Residency – and applications are open now.
Open to all alumni who hold a PCA&D BFA and have a developing studio practice, this residency provides a dedicated studio space, full access to campus facilities, and a solo exhibition opportunity at the close of the year. The residency runs from the first day of classes, Monday, August 24, 2026, through April 2027 – an entire academic year to go deeper into your work.
The residency is more than a room with good light. It’s a seat at the table within PCA&D’s creative community. As the Alumni Artist in Residence, you’ll work alongside faculty, mentor current students, and bring your professional perspective into the spaces where the next generation of artists is forming theirs.
“The Alumni Artist in Residence has the entire academic year to dive further into their studio practice, work alongside faculty, and serve as a mentor to current students, and they get to mount a solo exhibition at the end of their residency,” said Becky Blosser, assistant professor chair of the Fine Art Department. “They bring such a dynamic energy to campus, and the entire PCA&D community benefits from having them here.”
The deadline to apply is Monday, June 29.
