Description

Expressing oneself through art can be a powerful way for your child to explore their identity and emotions. Self-portrait collages offer a creative and introspective opportunity for young individuals to represent who they are and what matters to them.  In this class, students will explore patterns, layers and examples of different ways they can express themselves using pencils, markers, paint, glue and newspaper. By combining different materials, images, and symbols, your child will visually communicate aspects of themselves that words may not capture. This process can help them connect with their inner thoughts and feelings, fostering self-awareness and self-acceptance. Materials are provided for this class, however students are welcome to bring any collage materials they may want to use. Please see the supply tab for additional instructions.

This course must meet minimum enrollment by June 18 in order to run. Register today!
