What to know when taking in-person classes

Review our information regarding in-person classes and workshops on campus.

parking

PCA&D does not own a parking lot. Parking on Prince Street is free on weekdays after 6:00 pm and Sundays. There is non-metered parking within two blocks of the college, and parking garages on Water, Prince, and Chestnut Streets.

Parking meters and pay-by-space kiosks are enforced during the daytime and on Saturdays. The Lancaster Parking Authority owns and operates these meters and the Water and Prince Street garages. For more information, visit: http://www.lancasterparkingauthority.com

building entry

Enter through our main doors located at 204 N. Prince Street unless your confirmation notes a different location. On the first day of your classes, you will be greeted by the Center for Creative Exploration staff. After that date, the front desk guard will be monitoring entering students and will be available for any immediate questions.

student id

Most students taking multi-session classes will be given a student ID card. Please keep this in a safe location and bring it with you every time you come to campus. Workshop students are asked to wear a temporary sticker badge while they are on campus.

covid requirements

Please refer to our page about safety on campus to find the latest information about COVID requirements and guidance.

cancelations

To know if your class is canceled due to weather or an emergency, check pcad.edu and wgal.com for closing information. We will also post on our Facebook and Instagram social media channels (@pcad_ce). Canceled classes will be rescheduled and students will be notified of the make-up day at their next regularly scheduled class and by email.

Class notifications or adjustments will always be sent to the email address which you used to register for the class or workshop. If you do not see an email notification, please check your spam or promotions folders before reaching out.
