The concept for my children’s book revolved around a single quote by Sir David Attenborough, “If children don’t grow up knowing about nature and appreciating it, they won’t understand it. And if they don’t understand it, they won’t protect it, and if they don’t protect it. Who will?” and inspired by the Wild Kratts and Zoboomafoo for their love and dedication to teaching kids about nature and wildlife. The subject I chose for my book are critically endangered animals or endangered animals that are not so well known. My goal is to teach kids about these animals and what’s endangering them.
