My thesis is branding for my indie game Archmage. More than anything, I was inspired to create it by games that I grew up with, namely 6th gen console games on the Gamecube and PS2. I’m hoping that the work I’ve created, and eventually the game itself brings back good memories for people who grew up playing the same games I did. I aimed to create material that would fit right in during that time period. A large majority of the project consisted of taking renders I’d create in Blender, and adding vector art and typography to them in Illustrator. I wanted to create an equal amount of physical and digital deliverables, so alongside things like a steam page and social media, I also created game cases and a disk.

Coming from the middle of nowhere, from a family where almost nobody went to college, the fact I’m here graduating at all feels like an accomplishment. I’m eternally grateful to be a graphic designer, and will be pursuing any kind of agency work after graduation, as well as pursuing my love for game development on the side. Huge thanks to everyone who got me here.
