Ashley Slimmer

Inspired by the fantastical world of the macabre, Ashley Slimmer creates illustrations filled with weird wonders that lurk around every corner. Slimmer uses a combination of colored pencils, ink, pen, and digital tools to create her illustrations and comics, earning a Congressional Art Award in 2016.

Her senior thesis is a comic book about an ancient Japanese monster.

Following graduation, Slimmer plans to pursue illustration for children’s books.
