Through graphite, oil, acrylic, relief printing, screen printing, and sculpture, Heather Schroeder explores memory and absence in her portraits.
Her thesis project uses symbols — including cigarettes, fishing lures, and personal care products—to create an indirect portrait of her late father.
During her time at PCA&D, she completed an internship at Lititz Clay Studio. Schroeder has shown her work at Station One Center for the Arts and the Lancaster Museum of Art.
