Inspired by fantasy and folklore, Lindsay Dawson loves to fuse concepts that wouldn’t normally work together. Using graphite as well as digital tools, Dawson’s characters and environments transport viewers to worlds where representation matters.
Her senior thesis is a two-dimensional animated film about a young hunter named Wolfgang who seeks revenge on the creature who killed his mother.
During her time at PCA&D, Dawson completed a mentorship with Manchester, UK-based artist Marina Ortega, who taught her about industry concept art.
