Maximilian A. Crandall

Maximilian A. Crandall’s ephemeral photography and video work bends images until they almost disappear entirely. Often working with long-exposure shots, many of his pieces aim to create conversations around the psychology of the characters he creates.

Crandall completed an internship with Douglas James Studios. His senior thesis revolves around dream anxiety and nightmares, exploring the illusionary world of sleep.
