With the goal of creating new and interesting stories, Alexander Gutierrez’s digital work showcases a deep consideration for backstory, motivation, and personality. He has been making art since elementary school and frequently made comic books for his friends. For his senior thesis project, Gutierrez created a three-dimensional animated short about an anthropomorphized chicken fighting to protect the eggs of his dead lover from Donald Trump. Following graduation, he plans to explore a career as a writer, in the hopes of merging art and words.
