Inspired by the growth of Internet animation (from amateur fun to professional industry), the work of Dixon Y. Pugh-Cook explores themes of acceptance, unity, and resiliency. Drawn to a combination of digital tools and pencils, eir senior thesis project is a hybrid two- and three- dimensional animated short film about a frog who dangerously enlists the help of a snake. During eir time at PCA&D, Pugh-Cook was a student member of ACM SIGGRAPH and co-leader of PCA&D Alliance.
