When Kyeir Smith made his first animation in high school, he knew immediately that’s where he wanted to focus his career. Smith grew up drawing stick figures and adventure stories featuring classic Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog characters. His character animation work at PCA&D incorporates humor in order
to provide digital entertainment for all ages. Smith’s senior thesis project is a three-dimensional animated short film about a not-so-typical alpaca who finds himself on a new farm. While at PCA&D, Smith was a member of the “Yes &” Improv Troupe and was a student member of ACM SIGGRAPH.
