Inspired by “Monster High,” “What They Do In The Shadows,” and everything to do with Halloween, Cas often tries to focus their work on the two primary concepts
of representation and the spooky holiday. As a Queer artist, Cas finds representation to be one of the most important perspectives to adopt in artwork. Their art is one of the only places they have been able to consistently express themself freely. While working on this project they strived to make each character very different from the last. Along with this, they wanted to try to give each one its own spooky flair! Taking inspiration from tons of different mythologies and ghost stories to inspire the images on the cards, Cas produced a colorful tarot series broadly sampling from inspirational genres.
