Our Footprints. Our Legacy.
Ezra Davulcu is an Illustration major and Graphic Design minor, favoring digital mediums and finding ways to incorporate clay, sewing, painting, and beading into his work. Heavily inspired by surrealism, horror, and kitsch/camp style, he aims to create work that prioritizes emotion. Ezra’s thesis relies on video game elements and digital paintings to depict his experiences with trauma, mental health, and shifting identity from youth to adulthood.

Drawing from years in customer service and living with social anxiety, Ezra’s thesis features a cast of characters and locations set within a Fun House. Each room references different aspects of existing around others and the resulting internal struggles.
